yea i am with my77stang... headers can't really suck unless they are leaking or something... they are all the same crap pretty much.

I'd swap the carb out for a 600 or 650 dual feed........ just my opinion.

give us the numbers off the choke tower i should be able to look them up. if it is a 750 (which i'd almost put money on) your carb is WAYYYYY too big.

*edit* to further elaborate, swapping it for a holley 570 street avenger, barry grant 575 speed demon, holley 600 4160, or a barry grant 625 road demon would give you ALOT more pep in your bottom end's step. and i'd go vacuum secondaries unless this car doesnt get driven on the streets

if indeed you have a 750 its too damn big. too big = HP lost. the mathmatical numbers put a 302 at 100% efficiency (not possible, even EXCELLENTLY tuned motors are in the 90-95% range) say a 575 is plenty. now, us performance guys know that going a little bigger than what the math says is fine, and can help - but too much is too much.

just remember, bigger is not always better

are you running equals or unequal length headers? I have a hard time believing BBKs are crappy...

My77stang is right. Shane knows his **** that 750 is wayy too big, over carbing the motor isnt all too good. and if you put on a smaller carb, you'll get your power back, so the problem is most likely not your headers, unless they are cracked or warped somehow...
