650 too small for a 342? i could be wrong but id think thats just right.. 750 would be overkill

you wouldnt use anything bigger than a 650 unless it was a big block. or if you were running a lot of boost.

Thats what i was thinking... i am planing on going N/A for now and see how far it takes me... i am just looking for some solid 13 sec, maybe some 12s, timeslips and a fun ride, if you know what i mean... thanks everyone for the replies i will let you know when i get it put in and i will post some times a little later...

2. I would use a 750 carb.

Well if i hit 11s i would be extremely happy.. and it is also pretty hard to hit 12s at LACR, we will see what i can do though..i should be able to start pretty soon, at the end of feb.- begining Mar.. Ohh, and I am just going to have the 650 jetted and it should serve well, i believe...

Yeah you should be fine as long since you are not going radical with the motor. I guess your track up there sucks. My buddies 347 went 11.347@120 today on motor.

Nah, we will just have to drive 100 miles down to Pamona Raceway.. Only like 80Ft above sea level, actually a prepped track and not in the middle of the Mojave Desert.. I was being a little fascesious right there, it is an okay track, just conditions are terrible.
