bene's? you can use them when you buy aftermarket heads later (if you do), plus they are adjustable which means you have a better chance of not having to play musical pushrods until you get a proper length set.

Good pedestal rockers are quitecapable actually, but if you wanna turn insane rpm then studs are gonna be better. And yeah, you can shim pedestals, unless you have to go the other direction like I did, and buy longer pushrods. Studs are more interchangable from head to head though. Comp makes a set of adjustable pedestal rockers. Studs are also better for cams that require high spring pressure, like large race cams, the larger diameter means more threads to hold on to, and a stud will hold up where a pedestal may pull out. Pedestal are fine for most street applications though
