From what Ive heard buying chips off ebay are usually a bad idea. Best idea is to get a custom chip burned for your car. But thats only really worth it if you have lots of upgrades done.

you havent got anywhere NEAR the amount of mods needed to justify a chip...

also, generic chips suck..

btw.. how is this tech related?

thats not necessarily true, i had a JET chip in my 2.9L ranger and it helped a lot but then again, they the 2.9L doesnt make jack for hp so any gain feels like a big gain.

anyways, generic chips are junk no matter who makes them. plus it says for stock or nearly stock mustangs. how long will you fall under these qualifications? for most mustang owners, not long. you can advance your timing with the distributor for free and gain the same gain as the chip would give you
