fuel gauge problem

ok here is the scoop i have a 1990 5.0 lx and eversince ive bought it my fuel gaug read full all the time i changed out the sending unit and it still reads full can anyone help????

Check the wiring for a short to ground.If the wire chaffed and is touching ground I believe will cause it to read full all the time.Or if all the wiring is good then guage is bad.
