shimming motor mounts

shimming motor mounts
when doing this do you put the washers on the two bolts that connect to the engine or on the one bolt thta connect to the frame?

either way will work ? why are you shimming ? are they new, if they are sagging replace them with 'vert mounts

best bet is usually to do between the mount and the frame

I think I will be doing this too... either shimming or replace with motor mounts, depends on $ situation

i didnt have to shim mine motor mounts when i put in equal length headers. maybe its just time for new motor mounts. how old are yours?
