roller rocker stud size
i have a 92 gt 5.0 with the 7mgte heads and im looking for 1.7 roller rockers what size threads are the studs???? All i see is 7/16 and 3/8ths and i heard i cant use the stud mounted roller rockers so if i can use those which ones can i?

your heads are E7TE, and you need to either buy pedestal style rockers (they bolt onto the heads via a 5/16 bolt), or a stud conversion kit which has 5/16 threads on the bottom and 3/8's on the top. then you can use stud style rockers.
if it were me, i would get the stud converstion - cause later if you decide to get aftermarket heads you dont have to buy new rockers. also for what its worth, the crane energizers are probably the best bang for the buck you can find. stay away from the proform's cause they are crap, and the trick flows are overpriced.
