gt seats in a notch ?
 

got hatchback seats and im going to put them in my notch question is there is sort of like a black peice on the back connected to the seats do i need that ?

hey bob thanks for the response got the fronts in fine now the backs could i just take the two and stick them in. there is like a metal plate connected to the two seats i dont kno wtf it is its pretty big tho? [&:]

Picture or better discription would help about this black piece, but they should be a direct bolt in. I've got 86 GT seats in my 87 notch front and back.

no way.....gt seats are way wider than notch, i've had (5) 5.0 's and i can't see it happening

if it will work.....call me a dumb$hit, i say no

BOB I have them in my notch! and witha fully functional split fold down! I'm searching for the link in general right now where I explained how to install them with pictures of mine.

yeah my bad......i'm thinking in my head 'vert seats to gt hatch seats probably

if your '86 gt's work then his will too , my old notch'swere '88 and'89 w/ the crappy cloth. so much diff than tweed

Hey it is OKbob, yeah vert seats are way too narrow for anotch or hatch.
OK here is the link to the thread that has pictures of my seats and I tell in there what I did to install them.
I have actually done this to 2 cars the second one was standard LX seats in a 79 Notch.
