RE: 3.55 or 3.73
yea i have 3.73s great for a daily driver not to bad on gas good pick up too. but if you want a better 1/4 mile time go with 4.10s its worth the gas to have the pick when you want it.(although you loss a little off your top end speed)

he wants some gas mileage...why people ask about mileage in the first place is beyond meand street race.......and car I do I put in 3.55 or at most 3.73. you can put 4;10's but if you had any engine you wouldn't have to try to cover up your cars' lack of horsepower.....if you don't have a suspension all the gear in the world isn't going to help you much

RE: 3.55 or 3.73
just crusing around town the rpm difference between 3.55 and 3.73 isnt even noticeable. not untill you get around 5000rpms is there a noticable difference between the two. you will not get any extra milage at all from the 3.55 compared to the 3.73 so you might as well go 3.73

yes, I'm a firm believer in suppension...I KNow it doesn't sound meaner or makes your car much faster on the top end but even then it's safer.... but your first mods should be something in the brake department...[&:]
as for the might as well get 3'73's thing it make a big difference when tooling around town.. 1st is useable and to save gas do the 1-2-4-5 or the 1-2-3-5 shifting.
