Default Ford Racing vs stock 19# injectors

I need to replace my injectors... Are the 19lb injectors fron ford racing the same as the ones from my ford dealer. Why are the ones from the ford dealer so much more expensive? Really my question is if the ford racing 19# injectors are a direct replacement and OK to use on my stock 87 SD? Any help appreciated!

Because it's the dealer. They will try to rape you on anything they can. Just buy some new 19#ers on corral or ebay.

Thats good to know, that saves me some cash! The part that confused me is that the Ford racing catalogue says that they are "high flow" and should not be used with factory air meter (MAF) my car is SD, and I really just want to fix a slight stumble in my idle but want to stay stock for now.

Dead on accurate. 19's are 19's. And like sam stated try corral.net and also racing junk.com is a good resource for used parts.

No, I havn't had them flow tested but the car has 80,000k and Ive checked everything else I could think of. ie: IAC, EGR, TPS, timing, plugs, wires, rotor/cap, etc. Did I miss anything? The stumble is not that bad it is just annoying more like an ittermittent bump..................bump.......bump form the engine .

That clears up the injector question, thanks guys for your help. I just hope these clear up my idle. I dont know what else to try. Maybe its just the way SD is and I will just have to live with it. Anyone else replace their injectors and have improved Idle etc?

No, filter is original, could that affect the idle or just rob power?
