On my 5.0, the connections for the chrome fuel rail lines are on the top of the engine, then some chrome lines go down the sides of the engine and stop there.. I don't know if this is stock or what, but, I need to attach rubber lines to it. I assume they'll just blow off. How does everyone else make this connection? This isn't in a 5.0, it's just a 5.0 engine, and custom lines.

What kind of fuel system is it? Carbed or EFI?
Carbed- A simple hose clamp should do the trick. Put it down nice n tight and use two of em.
EFI- hmm...No idea as of now...

Fuel injection. Looks to me, from what I gather from looking on ebay, is there should be another connector at the bottom of each one, near the engine mounts. This is not the case. Is mine just earlier (I think itwas an 88 though) or did the previous owner hack them off? Are they just mild steel? Could I just flare them, stick an EFI hose over it and clamp it down? THats what i plan on doing at the rear where my steel lines turn back into rubber hose for the fuel filter/pump/tank.. I'm thinking that should hold? Who knows.. Could make a giant fireball.
