Chiltons is MUCH better. Haynes tends to leave a lot of important information out and if you're unsure what you're doing, it can lead to problems.
Example of Haynes list of instructions:
Fuel Injector removal / installation:
1) Remove the upper intake.
2) remove the fuel rail
3) remove the injectors
4) instalation is reverse of removal
They tend to leave out the minor, yet VERY important details which makes it prety much useless unless you know what you are doing. The above instructions are GREAT for someone who knows how to remove the upper intake or the fuel rail. But then again, if you already knew that, then chances are you wouldn't be looking for directions in the manual to begin with. I've noticed that with a lot of their stuff. They give such basic information it's useless for most people.
