I dont know if you ever found out what was wrong but I had the same type of thing happen to my mustang I have a 94 gt 5.0 and it was my mass air flow sensor was going bad one time and it wasnt allowing enought air to be forced into the engine and what not. Also check the oil kneck. There should be a vacuum hose that goes to the oil load kneck. My clamp broke off from the heat wave we had here in MO and the vacuum hose from my CAI to my oil load kneck came off and it made it do that same thing. Just some things to check into if its still acting up after all other options or expensed.

You gotta watch for those ****in cats... they'll get you every time, the trick I use is to tap on them with a rubber mallet and if they rattle then it's time for the sawzall to cut those bastards out. Hind sight is 20/20 but I gotta ask "Why didn't you check that right away???" slow revs, probably a rattle noise when you hit the throttle, and generally ****ty performance... come on a retarded chevy owner would've caught that one...

heres where some of the possible problems are coming from:
TPS: throttle position sensor
IAT: intake air temperature sensor
02 sensors
Cats clogged
MAF
or vac leak
also check the EGR: exhaust gas regulator
the cats will make it seem like it has a 2 cylinder running on one cyl. exhaust flow is very important on these motors. you can pull the midpipe, shine a light in there and look at the cats. it should have a honey comb like material in there and not broken, if its broken, its causing a restriction. you can take a metal rod and put it in there and beat the crap out w/ a hammer. there is metal mesh material that will need to be gotten out with a sturdy piece of wire. when emissions comes around, either pay some one off or buy a catted midpipe.

ok, i took the mid pipe off and ran open headers.....so no cats...and still reved slow and couldn't get out of its own way. so it is not the cats, we also looked at them and they are not clogged. At this point the new parts are:CapRotorDistributorFuel FilterWiresMAF (came new)We pulled a plug and 3 of the 4 we pulled were ghost white....im getting no fuel. Tomorrow Im gonna check the fuel pressure, the rails, and the injectors...i think it is the injectors bec one plug was ok...ill keep you guys updated
