Fuel Pressure??

Fuel Pressure??
I am chasing down a stumbling issue. I have a completly rebuilt 306 with the Trick Flow H/C/I kit. The idle seems to be pretty rough, and when I drive it down the road, I seem to get a stumble at half throttle in 3rd at about 2500 rpm. So here is what I have replaced:
TFI module
Fuel pump is now 255 Walbro
Fuel Filter
Plugs, wires, and cap are all new. Pluggs gapped to .54
Timing is set to 10 degrees
24lb injectors
C&L MAF calibrated for 24lb Injectors
I have checked all of the vaccum lines about 3 times. I sprayed starter fluid over ever line, and nothing changed in my idle. The plugs have about 50 miles on them. I pulled them out, and they were a little white, but I guess they actually just looked brand new still.
I am going to try and check the fuel pressure tomorrow. It has what I believe is a Kirban FPR installed. 2 questions though, is where is the place to hook up the guage to check for fuel pressure, and what should I set it at. I can not find any place to hook up a guage on the rail anywhere..

RE: Fuel Pressure??
It will be on the passenger side rail near the very front. It's the schrader valve... will look like a tire valve stem. It may possibly have a cap over it. Pull the vacuum line from the regulator and set the pressure to about 43.

RE: Fuel Pressure??
I have looked everywhere. I am starting to wonder if it is because I am running a 91 fuel rail, and 95 fuel lines. I did a V6 swap on the 95 and the motor was out of a 91. I remember the valve being on the steel lines that connected to the rail. But since I have a 95 I had to use the rubber lines. Or is the valve for sure on the rail on both the 91 and the 95. If so, I must be a retard.

RE: Fuel Pressure??
Yeah, that is what I was worried about. I think the 94-95's had the valve located on the rails, where the fox had it located on the lines. Since ihave 94-95 lines, and the fox rail, I think I am screwed.
I guess I could either try to adjust it by the feel, or buy a FPR that had a built in valve.

I have a 93 motor and it has no schrader. I got BBK rails now. The BBK regulator allow the BBK guage to screw into the side. I just leave mine there all the time to watch it

RE: Fuel Pressure??
I wonder if I could drill and tap a valve into the fuel rail without hurting anything. I would just have to make sure to get every last piece of stuff out of the rail after I drilled it.

RE: Fuel Pressure??
Why not just get rails from an SN95? They've gotta be dirt cheap at most junkyards and take no time to install. I'd rather do that than rish screwing something up while trying to tap the rail.
