timing spout connector

Default timing spout connector

how do you guys do your timing when i take the spout connector out it cuts the engine off

oh yeah are you sure you arent pulling the dizzy wiring harness? cause that will cut the engine right off. the spout connector is a small little thing that just hangs off the harness to the dizzy

Make sure it's warmed up also. Turn the car off, pull the spout, start the car.

i would get your idle set good w/ the iac unplugged first if it's dieing, might have to fix a vac leak b4 you can do it.

reset the puter and do it........i always pull mine out after i start it....then adjust then plug it back in, it lopes at first then smooths out
