285 tire on a 9 inch rim?

can you guys tell me if i can fit a 285 tire on a 9 inch rim?

i am running a 275 on a 8" rim so yes it'll fit.

You will be good. I run a 275/50/15 drag radial on a 8 in rim.

285 is an EASY fit on a 9" rim

if its 17x9 you are better off with a 275/40/14 as it maintains stock rolling diameter

18x9 you would want a 285/35/18... because its as close to stock rolling diameter as you can get
