Default Fuel pump won't turn on...

Hey guys recently I've been taking out the old interior in my Mustang and getting everything ready for a mass air conversion but for some reason now my fuel pump won't turn on. Everytime before I start it, I turn the key to ON, wait for the fuel pump to turn on, then start the car, but now it doesn't turn on and of course it doesn't start...any suggestions?

First thing i would do is trace your wires and make sure none are damaged and everthing is plugged in good.

Check the trunk to see if the inertia switch is tripped / unpluged / damaged.

What is the 1 component that you disconnected and reconnected?

I've checked all my wires including the ones under the drivers seat and they all look fine. I disconnected a littlebox that had a 2 or 3 wires coming out of it from the computer that has a metal tab that appears to ground it to the frame with a screw.

Yes, but what about the inertia switch in the trunk? You still haven't said if you checked that or not.

No I havent checked that, where is it? and is there any reason that would just turn off by itself?

It doesn't take much to trip the inertia switch. Small accident, pothole, lunar eclipse, etc.[8D]

Look in the trunk near your driver's side taillight. You should see a small cutout where you can reach a finger through there. Or you cna just pull the carpeting back. There will be a relaw / switch that will look like this. Check the connection on the bottom to make sure it's okay. Also press the big red button on top to make sure it's reset.

Yeah..inertia switch + the fuel pump relay (under the drivers seat) is pretty much what commands the fuel pump. You could try a new relay, or first check for voltage at the fuel pump harness when you hit the key.
