i have a manual rack and its just kinda hard to like do a u turn from standstill or back out of a driveway and turn straight. other than that its pretty easy.

dose enybody have manual rack and how do you like it im thinkin about getin one but i want here from some of you and see how you like or dislike is it hard to control when your sidewayz!! thanx for any info~
I replaced my power steering with the Flaming River manual rack and pinion system and it works fine for me! Just takes a bit more effort when doing slow turns is all and I have not got it sideways so I can't comment on that part! LOL

Really even worth doing?
I'm sure the power gains are minimal, for how good Power Steering actually is.

I guess it all depends on how much you drive and where as to whether or not you need the power steering. You certainly don't need it on a dedicated drag race car is the major reason I did away with it on mine.
