Default big hop

Ok I don't know whats going on. I read a little on wheel hop and here is my situation.

I just finished the 5 lug conversion but the axleshafts that I got from a ranger like the how to on this site have a little play to them. I can grab the wheel and pull it around .25" out and inwards. I am running 275x55/17R on the back and I removed the Quadshock and now I cant get on the gass in first or second gear with out the tires bouncing.

What is going on?

Will

I no longer have the MM grip box its stock under

The play in the axle is normal. The quad shocks are on your car to reduce wheel hop. A set of aftermarket control arms would fix your wheel hop problem.
