im looking into getting new mufflers.. my buddy just got some mac dumps on his 98 and it sounds pretty good. right now i have bbk l/t's o/r x and flowmasters, are dumps going to take any power away? and where can i buy a set?

you can dump any muffler... i have flows dumped... i have by far the deepest sounding 5.0 ive ever heard... bitch rumbles and growls....
o/r h pipe, and flows, no turn downs, no tails... no nothin... i love it
and no they wont take any power away

I have o/r hpipe with flows.. I dont have dumps either.. I just cut it right after the muffler. I have the deepest 5.0 where I live also, lol. I love it. I might put a o/r xpipe on there just to experiment with it.

i think my neighbor stopped setting his alarm on his truck since my harley and the stang both set it off even though im going down the other side of the street with a median in between us either that or he turned the sensitivity down
