Damn well how come in a tech thread it said i could connect it to the battery? **** now i need more wire! suns beatch. well gonna take a lil longer for that sound clip now that i have to run back down to my buddys audio shop.

Yes you can hook it to the battery but it still needs to be fused.

Wow see what i mean?!?!?!?!? i hear NO!!! dont hook the power wire from the alternator to the battery hook it to the solenoid, and now PRO50SC says i can wire it to the battery??????

HERE IS THE QUESTION. CAN I CONNECT THE 4 GAUGE POWER WIRE FROM THE BACK OF THE ALTERNATOR DIRECTLY TO THE BATTERY? DOES IT HAVE TO BE RAN TO THE SOLENOID?

either way is fine, I ran mine to the solonoid personally

Right on. So to the solenid is the better way. If i did run it to the battery it would only be like a 2' wire since my battery is relocated to the passenger side.
