Damn well how come in a tech thread it said i could connect it to the battery? **** now i need more wire! suns beatch. well gonna take a lil longer for that sound clip now that i have to run back down to my buddys audio shop.

Yes you can hook it to the battery but it still needs to be fused.

HERE IS THE QUESTION. CAN I CONNECT THE 4 GAUGE POWER WIRE FROM THE BACK OF THE ALTERNATOR DIRECTLY TO THE BATTERY? DOES IT HAVE TO BE RAN TO THE SOLENOID?

Right on. So to the solenid is the better way. If i did run it to the battery it would only be like a 2' wire since my battery is relocated to the passenger side.

doesnt matter. in your case, do the battery. shorter distance is always better.
