Default Need help FAST L@@K

Hey fellas just about to complete mt 3g alternator upgrade. Now i read i can run the 4 gauge power wire to my battery? is that ok?

yes. run 0 if you want. make sure you compensate with a sufficient gorund other wise your car will go "poof!"[sm=badbadbad.gif]

all my grounds look good and my one ground to the block has 4 gauge now and it seems solid. right on bro ill let you all know here in a min.

He is correct. I am assuming the batt. is still in the engine compartment right?. If so 4 AWG will be fine or as Five said you could go bigger.

as a word of warning for the furture. whenever change or F with wiring. check your grounds. if they are not equal or bigger than the power. your going to have problems. i just had a friend lose a 71 mach 1 in an electrical fire. car caught on fire while driving down the highway. and he didnt even do anything, its what the previous ownere did.

Well the question was is it ok to connect the power wire from the alternator the the battery instead of the solinoid?

You have to connect it to the "noid", new word. Your starter is connected to your noid.
