Default 331??

I just came across someone who is giving away a 302 long block. 30 bucks. I am doing a swap in a 92 LX. Im definitely thinking 331 but is stroker kits just use different rods or is the crank modified also. either way who has a budget minded stroker kit that is reliable.

I just started a sale on 331s today. $695 + shipping for a Scat kit with upgraded Probe flattop pistons.

That is a good deal. I found a guy locally that has a set of 71 model DO0E heads. It is gonna be carburated. I was thinkin those would make a good N/A car with a good cam and intake.

Opinions???

Honestly, no. You'd be giving up all kinds of power. But if you can get by with them until you can buy better heads, then maybe that's what you have to do.
