Go with the AFR's the FRPP GT40 head use 20 year old technology and dont flow nearly as well as the AFR's. Spend the money get the good head and remember its not always the cfm it is th design and velosity of the port and the shape of the chamber.. If you really want to flow go with the Trick flow because when you step up the make big numbers when ported.

Check out Tom Moss's site (tmossporting.com ??) if you want some real world #'s/info about ported E7's. You CAN make them flow well, but, like previously mentioned, the work is absolutely not worth it. There is a dyno graph on the site that shows 292 rwhp w/ the heavily worked E7's...that's a great #, but you could get that w/ little or no work w/ AFR's or another aftermarket head. Unless you want to spend a decent chunk of $$, you'll never see near that 292 hp at the wheels w/ E7's.
