I'm going to attempt to get as far as I can with getting the trans dropped on the '86, now while it is out (I plan to) tweak it, with a better servo (as suggested by 77) a shift kit and a deeper pan (can always do that later as well...) now keep in mind, that would be if money allows, for I am broke as hell right now due to school....

now is there any way to check the transmission for wear, and when it comes out, are there any cables (other than the linkage and cooler lines) that are attached, like the speedo gear, where does that hook ip to the trans? I dont wanna break anything on the car... as I plan on having it moving by hopefully march, june at the latest.... (the soonest I'll get to work on her after this weekend will be october 8th)
