Default Head lights/Panel display

93 gt with projector head lights and fog lightsthat have been re-wired so that the lights aswell as the fog lights go on when the fogs are turned on. i drove and parked it and now only my lights don't work. my dash no longer works either. i checked all the fuses in the fuse box as well as the fuses for the lights and they all are intact. i pulled the lights switch out and all the wires are plugged in... wtf is wrong? HELP

nope. i turn the lights half way on as if i just wanted my side markers on and they don't turn on and my back lights won't turn on either. that fuse that controls all of them isn't broke either so i don't know what to do. i'm def. stranded 2 hours away from home though so i have no ****ing tools.

could be the multifunction switch too
your headlights and the foglights are creating too much current draw for the stock wiring to be capable of dispensing.
you need to check both switches for melted wiring, first.

the headlight circuit is looped through the multi-switch because the highbeam circuit shuts off the low beams.
so, both switches, or only 1, could be bad.

then you need to do this

mine over heated the head lamp/fog lamp switch the first time and the multifunction switch the second..
my solution was to run the two head and fog lamps from diff sources. leaving them running together was the cause of the probs, thats why ford had a recall on the switch.( head/fog)
if you know how to rewire and solder it should cost you to much.
oh and BTW those projector lights..if there from APC ( which is the co i found to make them)they suck! i had them for two years and the lense started to melt/warp, and the reflective coating wore off. so i junked them. I hope your set works better.

yeah, those do suck. def. already melted the rubber around them. as far as the multi switch, it is the on on the column? i'm assuming so if it is the one that controls high beams and signals. how to i get to it?my signals work fine as well as my 4 ways so i'm assuming it is the light switch because it killed my dimmer/dash and tach lights as well. thanks for the info guys! any other suggestions? or does that pretty much sum them up?
