did you take into account that the cams lift will be higher with the 1.7 rockers?

as the specs look now, i'd say you'd be doing alright with that bumpstick

1.7 rockers will put you at over .600" of lift, you had better make sure you have the piston clearance for that, or it will be quickly made for you

Other than that I agree with My77 (write this moment down) it looks like you have put a lot of thought into your selections.

1.7 rockers will make it .545/.562.

Okay, splitting hairs. .542/.562 is still an area of concern with spring and pistons, yes?

I would go with a cam that has more duration.

And just for the record, the Crane 2031's advertised lift is with 1.7 rockers.

And just for the record, I'm 99% sure the Crane 2031's advertised lift is with 1.7 rockers.
For the record you are 100% correct, click the link and it will state that. Oops on my part. I was assuming an advertised with 1.6 ratio.

On this particular cam, probably so. I'm betting it won't work with 1.7s for multiple reasons. But generally speaking, cam timing has more to do with PTV clearance than lift. I just put a .550 lift on the intakecam into a stock shortblock. But it was a CI custom, so it was designed to work. Most OTS stuff won't work over ~.540.

Springs?....yes....Pistons?.....it will depend on the other missing information, other than the lift #'s.
