Got my driveshaft loop today...question
I got my Lakewood driveshaft loop today but I'm a little confused about exactly where it goes.
The instructions say just behind the tranny tailshaft but that doesn't make sense. I thought it was supposed to be mounted 6 inches behind the front U-joint in case the front U-joint breaks and you don't end up doing a pole vault over the finish line.
So is it front or rear?

Both statements are correct...the tail shaft is the part that your driveshaft front fitting slides into.
So it is the front, to prevent pole vaulting...
