tach gauge doesnt work....

My tachometer isn't working. I've fixed every gauge, but this one. I've never dealt with this on a mustang so if anyone can tell me where it its mounted and some steps to finding out the cause of the problem thatd be great. Thanks in advance.

How do you know it's not working if you dont know where it is mounted. Help me out, i'm missing something here.
