Default explorer intake

i currently have the BBK SSI intake manifold, which is awesome looking but does have its problems. It is a pain to work on, the pcv system sucks and alows oil to be dumped done through the manifolds. BUT i have a guy that is willing to trade me his explorer upper and lower andthrow in 100bucks for the SSI. DO you guys think that would be a fair trade or should i ask for more. I MEan i paid 600 bucks for the manifold out of a magazine. Are these explorer manifolds (GT-40) better flowing then my SSI or is it about the same...

He's screwin ya. Sell it and buy the stuff elsewhere. Junkyards are excellent if you can find the right Exploder

Edit: just looked at your sig... that wouldn't be a very good setup for your motor. Look at higher quality stuff than that if you want to get rid of the SSI
