K...So i have a 91 gt mustang and i just replaced the fan but when i tighten the shroud up the fan hits it.....i dont know why but its a doorman aftermarket fan

Your motor mounts are probably shot.

i had that problem when i changed my water pump .. i dont know if my shroud holes were just worn out lol but the shroud was slightly adjustable as far as moving it up and down .. when i saw it was hitting the fan i just loosened up the screws lifted it up and tightened the screws .. problem was fixed

The shroud holes are oblong, so you can adjust the thing. Move it up a bit

You have tomodify it, you need to trim so plastic off, i had to with my flex a lite

It just happened when he replaced the fan... So i strongly doubt the motor mounts went bad at the same time. Either the fan is shaped different, or the shroud ain't on right.
Make sure you position the 2 clips on the bottom of the rad to line up with the 2 notches on the shroud.
