thanks for the replies dudes!!!

damn Dbeck, I looked at ur site and WOW!!! good job on that car! how long has it taken u to do everything??? the current mods done to my car are all from the past owner. I cant seem to save any money between my gf and gas! lol see, they are both high maintenance!
took me about a year to all that...

Oh, and Dan, if you ever go to the track, or feel like hitting the gunrange or something, feel free to let me know, I wouldn't mind helping you out with some mods and stuff if you need too, I enjoy working on Mustangs...
definately man, you gotta call me and we can hit the track some weekend. Moroso is pretty nice during winter.

Dbeck, how much were those mounts?
summit, i think 89 bucks and 9 for shipping. under 100 wasnt too bad!!!

hey guys, you see how my new manifold has a really rough texture in the runners... should i polish that with some sandpaper to help air flow?

a friend told me that theres no point because carbon buildup will cause a rough texture on it anyway after 1000 miles or so... Should i even bother?

they dont look to rough, but if they do feel a little rough, it might be worth doing a quick job.... .... and to do motor mounts all i had to do was jack up the engine at the oil pan, using a block of wood obcource, and just take out each mount one at a time, i found the passenger side to be the hardest.... driver side too like 20 minutes

thanks for the reply, and yea the inside of the runners is really rough, i bet i could get 3-4 more HP just from polishing the inside of this beast...

does anyone know of an effective way to do this, ive been sitting on this one runner with some sandpaper for like an hour and its getting smoother but taking so long. what is there to make this polish job easier?

yea its called a die grinder with sandpaper rolls. DONT make them to smooth, too smooth will effect badly, and seeing 3-5 is going to be hard really

something with how the and fuel mix. back in january i made a thread with a link about having stock type manifords ported. its theory works for all intakes. i just know from reading and hearing that too smooth has bad effects on peformance

the fuel doesnt mix in the plenum with EFI though, its shot right over the intake valve, i dont understand why smoother wouldnt help airflow.

smooth is good but too smooth is bad, you dont want them to be glass smooth at all. look at any professionaly done product it still has some texture to it
