Default smog delete

ok when i was rebuilding the car are the wreck i deleted my smog pump and EGR... now the car runs rich and has an engine code... i'm sure the code just says its right and that the egr isn't functoning properly...

any ideas what would make it run rich? or has any one else had this problem after a smog delete?

you'll have a code immediately after starting it with the position sensor unplugged.

the EGR itself shouldn't be causing running issues by removing it, you might not be completely sealed off, have you rechecked all the vacuum and TB sealing?

no i haven't had a chance to check anything, but i know it's sealed all the way, i used a block off plate with RTV... i removed both the smog pump (along with all the tubes) and the egr... i do have a slight exhaust leak where the smog pump tube connected to the h pipe but it's not bad enough to cause and issues
