Comp makes nitrous cams, I think they have SD cams as well for Ford, off the shelf. You could also get a custom grind too.

Well I'm using the comp xe270hr14 which has a wide lobe seperation like most nitrous cams. Works good with speed density but you need to install a adjustable iac plate or it will surge pretty bad.

If you go to Comp's site and click on the tech section, at the top right is a link for the online catalog(it's small and not easy to find). It's a .pdf file, pick the engine and it tells you all the specs on the cam and even lists recommended supporting components(springs, retainers etc etc). They don't list the valve timing events vs tdc and bdc.

General rule of thumb for a SD cam is you want less duration and wider lobe seperation than with MAF

http://compcams.com/technical/Catalo.../72-75_230.pdf

IF you opt for a custom grind from someone then you can specify that it needs to run with SD too, whether it is for daily usage etc

Zack, dont forget about the fuel filter you installed in the vac line to the MAP sensor... which helps cut down on the "pulses" that the cam sends to the map..

hmm... thats a pretty neat trick if it really works?
i would think it would just muffle the "pulses" instead of lowering the count
