Default Considering this

I've been considering selling my fourbanger that I have because it's been giving me a bunch of trouble. Fixing it peak running condition would cost almost as much as this car.

So what do you think?

Is it a good price? It seems incredibly reasonable.

Well, it's still got the totally original engine from '86. The seals are really worn, as are the bands. The transmission is also conking out on me, it's an auto, and right now when it gears up I have to rev it to about 3500 rpms before it will gear up. Also if you accelerate too fast from a stop loads of blue smoke comes out, smoke also comes out at other times that I can't really explain.

There's a look at the engine.

It's an even better price if those are Canadian dollars they are asking for...

Haha, hold your horses, I'm not even for sure selling it yet. I'm mulling it over, I still have to talk to my step-dad(who'd be paying for most of the other car).

But I seem to be getting the vibe that the other car is a good deal.
