Default Aluminum driveshaft?

I am thinking about buying a aluminum driveshaft, and i was wondering if anybody has one and if they are worth the money? Exactly how do they improve performance? Anybody know what they are worth in the quarter-mile?
Thanks for the answers in advance.

Default Aluminum driveshaft?

Summit racing makes one.

They work becuase they weigh less than a steel driveshaft, reducing the effort the engine does to get power to the wheels.

It reduces parastic drag basically....I'm not sure how much it'll help the 1/4 mile, but it's also dependent on what you already have done......the more you got done, the more it'll help out....
