do i need to upgradevalve springs for a b-303 on gt-40 heads?

you should always try and match the springs when changing to a different cam...

If it were me and I was going to all the work of putting in differant/new cam, I'd sure want to have a new set of springs and seals too........

tech. you dont HAVE to replace them (.480 lift) but in all seriousness its highly recommended.

If you anticipate .500+ (which I know that cam is not) but if you decide to go a little more juicy then it's a must. For .480 nah, but you are not far from it being a good idea.
