1) Fox body Mustang V-8 car had about 56% of the wieght on the front wheels. A 351 will be 65# heavier minimim.
Stay with 302 block, go 347.
2) I got 325# of my ;85 last year but I already had aluminum heads/intake/raditor etc.
It now is about 2860 with driver and is 50/50 front rear..
3) I'd sure think about going C-4 as everything you would ever want is out there for them and they are not as much money to build as AOD's.
4) I think if you took your time you good have your car ready to run with driver only being about 2800#

what is the stock bore x stroke on the 351W? i know the 5.0 is 4 x 3 stock. when built right, what could rev higher? the 347 stroker or a stock stroke 351W?
