Default SCT Chip for 94 GT?

Here's the deal. I am planning on a Supercharger and Dyno tune come this November. The dyno shop near by does SCT Tuning. I was looking for a way to get a little more pep from my car until then. Would it make a decent power difference to buy one of these http://www.americanmuscle.com/sct-4-...uter-chip.html for use with my current mods? I will have to buy the chip in November any way but didn't know if it is worth it at this point in time. Thanks.

its always worth getting something that will make your car run better. If you are doing a power adder you want to make sure your car is using that to the best of your advantage. I would totally recommend the chip and get it tuned professionally like you said you were going to so that way it will use your fuel and air induction the best way possible to maximize the horses your putting out.

No doubt will I do it when I get the charger. That is a must. I'm just wondering if I should go ahead and order it now with a tune for the mods I have on the car at the moment. Then when I get the charger, I'd already have the chip and the dyno shop can just rewrite the settings on it. Question is, will it make a power difference to make it worth getting it in advance.

It can't hurt, I have a base line tuned SCT chip in my car right now, and it really calmed my idle down so it should help you out as well

It's nothing more than a store bought, generic tune chip. I would wait and have one custom burned for your exact application while it's being dynoed. You'll save money in the long run. Why buy one twice?

Well you only have to pay for the chip once. I'd be paying for the tune twice.

Well, if you have money falling out of your a-hole, go for it.

Well, I wouldn't say that. I come from the turbo DSM scene where proper tunes made a huge difference in HP. All I'm asking is if it does the same for the 94-95 GT's. I keep hearing that our ECU's blow without a chip. If I go ahead and chip it now and gain 10-15hp, I'll go for it. If not, then I'll wait till the charger setup.
