i got my 347
i am happy now..i just bought my cousins car..he has 7000 in the car ..all brNF NEW..NEVER BEEN FIRED UP YET...it has a all forged 347 hard core kit...prolighting heads..all comp parts with roller rockers...the car is a 85 5-speed it has all complet msd and brand new rpm intake and 750 holley with new pump and steel braide line with a sump..and full lenght headers...i got it for a killer 3000.00....i still have to get a few small things..belts hoses..gears..mufflers..but hot dam..im ready to rubmle..i hope with 4.11 gears and slicks it will run 12.50

Not that i think your cousin doesnt know what hes doing, but you might wanna double check everything that was already installed so you know he didnt miss something important, i dunno...

i had made a different post on this before when he was think about selling it...but he had a well know local performance shop build it... balance it and even degreedd the cam in...i have lived here all my life and have never heard any bad things about this shop..the obly bad things avout the car is that i hear that the 5 speed tranny is not that strong..and it has the small 7.5 rear..which i plan on replacing with a 8.8 with strange axles full spooland 4.11 or 4.30 gears..

It depends on the rear end... i am going to have 4.11s installed and my rear is an 8 inch.. the 8.8 only uses 4.10s not sure on the ratio for the 7.5 or the 9... But i know 4.10s arent theonly one they do use 4.11s in some cases...
