All I used was a wrench and a sledge to tap it loose, however they were taken off by a tech before hand for the gear install.

I must be the only guy on the planet that had 0 problem with those bolts... I took them off with my long craftsman 3/8" ratchet.

You guys need 30" breaker bars ($15 at discount tool shops) or gym memberships...
