Default belt routing

i just removed my a/c and bypassed my smog pump. i just ran a shorter belt and moved the tensioner a bit.

is this how ur supposed to do it?

the belt is like 1/2" away from rubbing on itself

and no i havent noticed any gains, even with the 76mm mass air flow sensor installed right after.

Default RE: belt routing

you can go probably another half inch to an inch shorter on the belt, the tensioner has alot of room to work with.

Default RE: belt routing

yeah......mines not that close and it's out of range
