Motor HELP!!
 

I have a Sn-95 stang im trying to find a motor to put in..my friend says an 86 motor wont work because of the type of pistons it has??? but he said 87-95 blocks will work.and the heads will work...i have the upper n lower intake for the 95 that he said i can put on there the thing is my buddy gave me an 86 motor wich ofcorse i cant use =\ anyone kno if it will or will not work..i got just bout every thing that went on the 95 motor to make the new one work..needs posts asap please thanks :(

ps. i kno it will mount in the car but i need to kno if i can or when i do put the upper n lower intake in will it work? i have all Accessorie brackets just bout everything i need i think..i need some input gurus..................[&o]

the 86 has flat top pistons and the 87 -up have valve reliefs cut into the piston. i would recommend using 87-92 because in 93 ford switched to hypereutectic pistons. you cant rebuild the motor thats in it now? go ahead and spend some money on a stroker motor.

i juft bought a complete 88 thunder bird 5.0 i need to kno if this will work i have the upper and lower intake from 95 and acc brackets etc..will it?
