Default RIGHT REAR LEAKING?? 84 GT 5.0HO
in the rear of the car on the right rear rims theres like gunk...how hard to change a rear axle seal?? and how??

remove rear diff cover..remove 5/16 bolt and the long pin will come out.... push the axle in a little and use a magnet to reach in and pull the c-clip out then wham!!! pull the axle out and then pull seal out and reinstall all in reverse order then add new fluid with friction modifier!!!

i'd bet on a bad wheel cylinder before an axle seal

okay then!! since it's rear disc ...add in then you'll have to remove the caliper and rotor and caliper hanger

just as they said. just make sure you dont loose that c clip when you go to drie off your wheel is gunna fall off

Be careful and patient with the 5/16 bolt. They will break easily.
