those hp numbers are inflated more so they are flywheel numbers not rwhp......I've done some trickflow kits for people before and they are complete but there are better combo's that'll produce more bang for the buck...but all in all if maxing every angle of hp is of no concern and you just want the hunt for parts to show up on your door step in one easy shippment then the trickflow kit won't disappoint you in that respect

i have the trick flow kit & like it . it is hard to beat. it comes with a lot more than just h/c/i. i think you would need at least 24lbs. inj. / 65mm tb/ 70mm. good luck.

it was also tested on a 306 engine ... from what ive read on here guys seem to be averaging around 273 rwhp with the trick flow kit .. also it seems like anyone who talks bad about the trick flow only does so because they were hoping for more power from it not becauseits a bad quality product

Yeah I have the kit as well. I went ahead and upgraded my injectors to 24 70mm throttle body 73mm mass air, bbk headers, underdrive pullies, new water pump, thermostat, you know all that little stuff you might as well replace while its apart. But of course with any car your allways gonna want more hp. If i could do it different i spent around 3500 after everything. Its alot faster but with my 95 it definetly could use a tune to use it to its full potential. Good luck

I just spent a couple of weeks researching this whole thing. I have decided not to do the HCI swap. I realized I was going to spend about $3500on parts and labor to rebuild the top end of an engine with 120,000 miles on it. For $4000 I can get a complete motor - minus air system - thats rated at 350 hp and 330 lb/ft torque.

For someone that has the tools an knowledge to do the HCI swap it may be the cheaper way to go. For me... I don't have the tools, time or knowledge to make that swap. I would rather save up the extra 500 bucks and replace the entire engine. My mechanic said he would drop the new motor for $650.

$650? I guess it depends on how reputable the shop is. I had a guy take out my blown motor in my 00 Intrepid and drop a new one in for $600. And when I got it back, I couldnt even tell it was replaced thats how clean the job was. I guess he did it really cheap though.... I dunno
