Default CLUTCH HELP

I have an 86 GT 5.0 with 45000 original Miles. The car has a oil leak from the main oil seal. Everyone tells me to replace the clutch while I'm in there but I have like no money. So how long can the original clutch last? I know it has to do with they way you drive but on average? The car is MInt and all original and I don't think I will be changing that much if at all maybe a bolt on supercharger but proably not. Is the Oem clutch a good clutch should I just replace with stock? What the difference in the feel of clutches? Don't give me stats on this does doesthis or that just how it will feel and what difference it will make if any? Will it feellighteror heavyer then stock. I don't have money like I said so keep that in mind. The car is a daily driver and may never go to the track except just to do it once.Any clutch types and places to get a good deal and what I should pay would be great
Thanks

Default RE: CLUTCH HELP

If it doesn't need a clutch then don't replace it... That's just dumb..

Well.. That's assuming that you can do your own labor. The labor cost of a tranny R&R is pretty huge, so the additional cost of putting a new clutch in while a tech is there is almost negligable.
