Default E-303 in a 95 GT

Will I have any problem installing an E cam in a 95 Gt, as far as the ECU goes. In other words will it run good with out a tune or is the ECU too sensitive?

JUST PUT IN A STEEDA #19 cam it was made for your cars computer in mind and the specs are somewhat close to that of an e-cam

Summit Racing says the E303 is computer controlled compatible so you might be able to have it running decent without a tune. The Steeda #19 took a lil learning in my car but it runs fine now.

I doubt it, aren't they very simular to a TFS1? My car barrely ran without a tune with my trick flow cam. Just get it tuned!! What else have you done to it?

Idk man thats just what Summit Racing says; but it also says "a modified computer chip may be required." As for the TFS1 cam, i know a kid with a '95 GT with the trickflow top end kit and his car is runs pretty good without a tune 95% of the time.

+1 on a Steeda #19. If you're not getting a custom grind, then I see no other reasonable alternative for an SN95.

Mine ran horribly, I had to bump the idle up to around 1700 rpms just to keep the damn thing from stalling every time I let off the gas. I didn't drive it much like that though (actually only 2 times, once to dial in my fuel pressure and timing and the second time to a different garage to finnish up my work) so maybe after time the computer would figure it out. I would still get a tune though, I only have a base line tuned SCT chip right now (still waiting for my dyno tune appointmenet) and the difference is night and day

the car should be fine with a little ole e cam in it. but then again i guess it depends on what you can tolerate. i was able to tolerate the lunati nitrous cam and its a hell of a lot bigger than the e cam
