Default Shocks, struts, and springs . . . oh my!

Can ya'll give me some advice on buying new suspension components for my '92 GT Hatchback? I've read that Tokico is a good brand, but have found a complete setup from KYB which includes shocks, struts, and springs. The Tokico is just shocks and struts. The prices are comparable. Is this one of those, "you get what you pay for" things? Money is tight and I don't want to waste it by buying an inferior product. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Right now, I feel every little bump in the road :-(

id for now just get strange struts/shocks all the way around... well that is depending on how much control you want to have over your suspension... i have them just up front and love them

springs wont effect the ride AS MUCH.... but new ones wont hurt... what do u want... lowering? stock height? drag racing?etc
