Default 5 lug conversion

I'm about to buy my old 03 cobra wheels back from this guy to use for my 5-lug swap. My question is can't you get some axles out of a ranger or something? And whats involved in swapping the drums out for SN95 rear discs. I dont want to buy the kit because I want some slotted rottors for the front. so if anyone has doen the rear conversion let me know the parts involved and tell me if i can use junkyard parts etc.

i just did it not to long ago. i kept the rear drums for now, but i used aerostardriver side axles, or the ranger passenger side (both are the same). And i used 9" ranger drums. For the front i just bought some 94 spindles, 94 10.8" rotors and PBR 99+ alluminum dual pistons calipers. (spindle needs to be grinded a little bit to fit the calipers)

this works well.

OK, OK, no need to argue. But i will get some pics of the ****aki i just picked up. i will make a thread in the general stuff. Use aerostar driver side x2 or ranger passenger side x2 or one of each. Then use 94-94 mustang front spindles and hubs, aqnd 10.8" rotors from 94-95 stangs. Then use some dual piston alluminum PBR 99+ calipers, or stock 94-95 mustang calipers. Thats will do well. With the PBR you need to grind a little bit of the spindle but better calipers overall.

92civy, just noticed you contradict yourself in your 2 posts. In your first post you say to use passenger side aerostar axles or ranger drivers side axles. In your second post, you say the opposite. Just don't want anyone to get confused.
