Best Size throttle body and mass air meter
Ok I need to know what the best size throttle body and mass air meter to use for my setup. Here is my setup:
Explorer gt40 intake
69 351 windsor heads ( basically the same as gt40's)
1.7 roller rockers
e303 cam
full exhaust (equal length shorty's to offroad h-pipe to flowmaster catback)
underdrive pulleys
smog pump eliminated
I was thinking a 75 mm mass air meter and a 70 mm throttle body but i really don'tknow.

You can buy what ever MAF you want, but 65mm TB would be perfect for your build. 70mm would be overkill unless you plan to upgrade to a stroker or big heads and cam.

RE: Best Size throttle body and mass air meter
First of all its best to always run a MAF thats larger than your throttle body. As for the sizes...In the real world their's no damn difference between a 65mm and 70mm throttle body on an engine like yours. If you have the ability to open up the manifold to accept a 70mm I would go that route. The reason is that 70mm are the most common and hence cheaper and easier to find but either size will work just fine. As for the MAF size anything from 73 to 80 would work just fine, even a 90mm lightning MAF would work but would require a custom chip.
